Hector is a seasoned credit union executive with experience as a CEO and senior leader across multiple institutions. He specializes in strategy, organizational development, and leadership growth, with a passion for helping others rise in their careers, and is a proud recipient of the California and Nevada Credit Union League’s Tomorrow’s Star Award.
At CU Ascend, Hector serves as the Chief Strategist, designing the leadership ecosystem, curating expert contributors, and guiding the platform’s vision for the credit union movement.
Karan Bhalla
Strategic Advisor, Data & AI
Karan is the CEO of AiVantage, with over two decades of experience in data analytics, AI, and sustainable strategies for financial institutions. He has partnered with organizations such as Capital One, PenFed, and AmEx, leading global teams across the U.S. and India.
As a strategic advisor to CU Ascend, Karan brings deep expertise in data strategy, analytics, and emerging technology, helping shape insights and innovation across the leadership ecosystem.
Cameron Honma
Consulting Partner, Finance & Analytics
Cameron brings over a decade of experience in finance, forecasting, and data analytics across aerospace, defense, calibration, and financial services. He specializes in process improvement, operational efficiency, financial modeling, and data-driven reporting.
At CU Ascend, Cameron supports clients through finance, operations, and analytics consulting, helping credit unions strengthen performance and make informed, strategic decisions.
